Overview
What Is FSSC 22000 Certification?
FSSC 22000 is a food safety certification scheme owned by Foundation FSSC, a non-profit based in the Netherlands. It is benchmarked by GFSI, so large food brands and retailers around the world accept it.
It is built from three parts:
01
ISO 22000:2018
The food safety management system, including HACCP.
02
Sector PRPs
Hygiene basics for your sector, from the ISO 22002 series.
03
FSSC requirements
Extra rules like food fraud, food defense and allergens.
Worth knowing: we prepare you for the audit. The audit and certificate come from an independent certification body licensed by Foundation FSSC.
